BDB The Shadows Family Tree – Trez, Selena, iAm, Maichen

You know I couldn’t forget the Shadows, right?! The next BDB family tree I made for The Black Dagger Brotherhood book series by J.R. Ward was for the Moors, and most of the Shadows.

This BDB “The Shadows” family tree includes the bloodlines and known relatives/descendants of:

Trez, Selena, iAm, Maichen

Clickity click click above for an enlarged version. But don’t really, because three clicks are not necessary. One click or tap’ll do ya.

General Notes:

  • Early in the series, Trez and iAm were specifically noted as NOT being twins. The quote was something about how they weren’t twins, but you could barely tell since they were so alike.
  • Later in the series, though, we discover that they are in fact twins. This is not surprising, because the supposedly rare sets of twins within the vampire world all seem to gravitate towards the Brothers.
  • I included most of the Shadows, with the exception of the two half breeds: Rehvenge and Xhex. Their lines are detailed out in earlier charts.
  • The only Shadow that we’ve met outside of Trez and iAm’s direct realm is Nexi. She’s a friend of Duran/Theo in the e-book/novella Prisoner of Night.

More general notes can be found in the main article with links to all family trees: “BDB Black Dagger Brotherhood Family Trees – Updated!”

Here’s a master list of all the family trees, to be filled in with links as I get them published:
