Tim Shumate’s newest print features Ariel again! This time it’s Sailor Jerry vs The Little Mermaid, and the end result is awesome. One commenter on his Facebook page mentioned that he first read this as “Lust At Sea”, which is pretty apropos, no? The top image is the finished product, and the images below show the progression. It may not be a transcendent masterpiece of the Disney canon, but The Little Mermaid is still very heartening: It suggests the Disney magic isn`t lost after all.
