I’m a proud banana slug, and I miss my lovely home away from home. Santa Cruz – and UCSC – changed me for the better in so, so many ways. It’s also pretty awesome. Seriously, it’s like taking a trip back in time. It is a liberal’s dream town, and a conservative’s nightmare. They don’t have a mall or an In-N-Out, but they do have nice people and a laid-back attitude. If I were a mermaid I would swim there today!
