How Job Hunting Makes Me Feel Like Marshall

As Marshall goes through the trials of job interviews, his pep talks to himself in the mirror become more and more familiar to me.

Early stages of job hunting:

“You are confident, you are energetic, you are focused.”

Mid-stages of job hunting:

“You are flexible on salary, you’re willing to compromise, you’re not gonna cry this time.”

After job hunting for way, way too long:

“You are sad. You are beaten down. You will get through this, come home, get in your big underpants, and take a nap.”

Yep, that all sounds about right to me. Did I mention that I am desperately seeking employment? Perhaps I should focus my attention on finding the “The Best Burger in New York” (S4E2).
